where to stay for the wedding

Just a few blocks from our house is the Adventure Inn. All of the rooms have air conditioning and digital cable television. There are smoking and nonsmoking rooms and accommondations for pets. They also have accomodations for large groups and four of our rooms are handicap accessible. 218-365-3140

The rates for two people,
2 full beds is $60 per night or you could upgrade - 2 people, 2 queen beds is $80 per night.

Next (also a few blocks from our house) is the Paddle Inn. Oh yes! Their website is foolish so I could not grab the rates, but I do know that they have complimentary coffee all day!

The Paddle Inn offers air conditioning, color TV (yes we still advertise cable here in Ely), pets are allowed, and according to the Chamber of Commerece, they have a SAUNA!!

The wedding is being held at Semer's Park on Shagwa Lake. As you drive down to the Park, there is a cute little resort on your left. This is the Stony Ridge Resort.

It is a fishing resort with nice log cabins (cable TV). Unique resort cafe with scenic outdoor area. RV and tent camping areas. Bait and tackle shop. Campfire wood, BBQ grills, dock spaces, boat, pontoon, and canoe rental, playground and swim area (where the wedding is located).

So if you want to stumble to your lodgings, this is the place to stay
. 218-365-6757
