Nugget's Room

I would like to blame my lack of blog entries on pregnancy (I sure blame most everything else on Nugget) but I looked at the date of my last blog entry... and I have not been pregnant for a year and 7 months.  Oh no.  But I have been pregnant for 8 1/2 months - that must count for something.

Regardless, it is time for me to start posting again.

Since Kevin and I have been waiting over 3 years for Nugget, we have had a lot of time to plan what we need to do to our house to get it baby ready.  So far, we have installed carpet in the living room - a big step for us since Kevin spend A LOT of time refinishing the floors, installed a new one basin sink - since we only have a shower in our mini house, painted Nugget's room - an African Savannah scene with 1 giraffe, 2 monkeys, 3 hippos, 4 lions, 5 zebras and 6 elephants, and we are in the process of building a garden shed.  Which is step 1 for building a garage, with living space on the 2nd floor - since we no longer have a spare room and we have many friends and family who would like to spend some quality time in Ely. 

My pregnancy is going well - if I forget about the morning sickness which is a joke, since it was ALL DAY sickness.  I get tired in the afternoons, but who doesn't!  We only have 6 weeks to go - few months ago, I was ready for her to just be here already... but now with the date so close, I am not quite sure.  Nugget had been very active in the last month.  In fact, she is kicking me right now... usually she gets "restless" right before it is time to eat and when she does not like my position. Like right now... I think she wants me to move around a bit and give her some more room. 

Which means it is time to hit the yoga mat and make her happy!
