wedding day

June 10th was one of my most stressed out and yet the most fabulous days of my life.

I am Minnesotan, therefore I have to start out talking about the weather - sunny warm with a bit of a breeze, which kept the mosquitoes at bay. Simply lovely.

The actual events of the day are hazy. I remember getting up in the morning, having my shoes sink into the soft dirt with every step I took down the "isle", kissing Kevin and shoving his ring onto his swollen finger, hugging a lot of people and listening to some kick ass canoe grass music. But if you asked me who was there and what they were wearing, I would first need to consult the photos, then I might be able to answer.

Here are a few of the 350+ photos the lovely Mikeal snapped. I heard from a few others that he was like the paparazzi during the wedding ceremony. I did not notice a thing. I could not look at anyone - I knew I would cry and I was not sure if my mascara was waterproof :)

Our vows came from Pablo Neruda's Cien Sonetos de Amor (100 Love Sonnets)

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride;
so I love you because I know no other way.
