Day at the Zoo
So just a few days before the Lake Superior Zoo flooded and the polar bear, Berlin, escaped, Anika, Nana and I visited said bear and the lions. It was Ani's first time seeing live animals. She thinks bears are for cuddling and lions are to be kissed.
Anika loved the zoo. She got braver as the morning went on, but not brave enough to get more than 10 feet from the lioness who was laying in wait for her. Smart girl.
